Narrator Griffin Rogers recorded Jabberwocky as a Christmas present for his son then spent the next several years foisting the recording onto unsuspecting friends and colleagues. Those who were unable to avoid him were often heard to ask, “So, you recording that nonsense?” Taking this as a sign, if not an outright request, Griffin began recording additional nonsense whenever he was able to find an unlocked window and sneak into a recording studio. If this sounds like a lot of nonsense to you, you will love this audiobook.
Griffin Rogers is the “Looking Glass” pseudonym of actor, playwright and filmmaker Roger Griffin. Griffin began his career in the theatre, where he worked as an actor, designer and director before seeking honest work. Finding none he was capable of doing, Griffin began duping unsuspecting clients and agency people into letting him produce quite a lot of nonsense for the film and video industry. While managing to avoid amassing a fortune, Griffin has written the book for four full length musicals and lyrics for three. After Happily Ever After made its Off-Broadway debut in May 2022. The others await discovery. His epic song, The Flossing Beat, composed for the Michigan Department of Health’s M.R. CHEP in-school program for pre-teens, is known throughout wonderland as a successful deterrent to scores of children’s dental health. All his nonsense has earned Griffin numerous awards languishing in the dust adorning the shelves in his office.
